    Jetmixers Dispersing Mixer
    Description

    Spandex is a kind of polyurethane fiber. Because of its excellent elasticity, it is also called elastic fiber. It has been widely used in clothing fabrics and has the characteristics of high elasticity. The main purpose is the manufacture of tights, sportswear, body belts and shoe soles, etc.

    Work Flow

    1. The prepolymer is formed by mixing the macrodiol and diisocyanate monomer.

    2. The prepolymer is further reacted with an equal amount of diamine, and the resulting solution is diluted with a solvent to form a spinning solution.

    3. The spinning solution is pumped into the cylindrical spinning unit, where it is solidified and converted into fibers.

    4. When the fiber leaves the unit, a certain amount of solid strands are tied together to produce the required thickness, and then the resulting fiber is treated with a finishing agent.

    Problem

    1. The powder raw material has the characteristics of moisture absorption and is easy to form granular or quasi-crystal.

    2. It is easy to agglomerate to form fish eyes when mixed with solvent, and it is not easy to disperse.

    3. The light powder is easy to float on the solvent and is not easy to mix with the solvent.

    4. The powder feeding speed is slow.

    Solution

    1. Use a mixer to complete the macro mixing inside the tank.

    2. Place the Jetmixers Dispersing Mixer in the tank.

    3. The PLM power/liquid mixing system is used outside the tank to complete powder addition and depolymerization.

    Advantages

    1. The ordinary mixer performs macro-mixing of materials, increases the probability of dispersing and shearing materials, and reduces the dead end of shearing.

    2. The Jetmixers Dispersing Mixer forms a vertical flow in the tank to fully premix the materials.

    3. The powder passes through the PLM power/liquid mixing system to quickly contact the powder with the solvent and complete the dispersion and dissolution at the same time, which greatly improves the mixing efficiency and avoids powder agglomeration.

    4. The powder is no longer fed manually, and the efficiency of using powder suction to feed is higher, and there is no dust flying, which effectively solves the problems of material loss, occupational injury and environmental pollution.
